Historical Notes
IRMEL was established in 1945, in Crusinallo (Novara) - Italy, where the Dellavedova brothers started the production of aluminium household articles.
- In 1948 the first revolutionary one-piece "espresso" coffeemaker (or "macchinetta" in Italian), was built in aluminium plate, with the trademark NOVA ESPRESS.
- In 1954 the firm moved to Omegna, in a new 6,000 square meters factory.
- In 1964, beside the usual production of "espresso" coffeemakers and aluminium household articles, a new line of stainless steel household goods was created.
- In 1982 the introduction of new colouring processes and new production technologies enabled the firm to launch a line of household articles with very refined and pleasant design and colours, a line constantly expanded and updated.
These are the most important stages of IRMEL story ,made of dedication, work and technology, purposes that our firm has pursued over time, costantly improving. |
